Why We Exist
To Exalt Jesus in Arkansas as in Heaven.
Arkansas For Christ exists to exalt Jesus in Arkansas as in heaven, where the unhindered revelation of the beauty of Jesus produces a united response of wholehearted worship, and where communities experience social transformation through the unity of the church.
Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. – Matthew 6:10
What We Do
Build a vibrant culture of prayer in Arkansas.
Prayer is the greatest lead measure of spiritual awakening. Arkansas For Christ creates content, connects leaders, hosts events, provides training, and organizes ongoing initiatives to build a vibrant culture of prayer through the church to society in Arkansas.
God moves when cities pray.
Local Church
Arkansas Prays is a pastor-led, church-based movement to cover Arkansas in 24/7 prayer for spiritual awakening. We are continually adding churches to an unbroken chain of prayer in cities across Arkansas and equipping churches to grow in prayer.
One Voice is a citywide night of prayer led by a diverse team of pastors and worship leaders to gather every church in the city. One Voice events are built into the rhythm of the city schedule to bring our churches together regularly.
Content: Arkansas For Christ regularly provides fresh content for pastors and local churches to grow in understanding and expressions of prayer. Content ranges from prayer guides to service formats to teaching on the value of prayer.

Local Business
Business Leader Prayer Groups are an opportunity to connect peer groups with a shared vision of kingdom impact and ongoing prayer for local businesses. Each group is launched through a study of God’s heart for business and connected to a broader network of like-minded business influencers.
Business Leader Prayer Guide is a weekly Scripture-based prayer to strengthen ongoing prayer for local businesses distributed digitally.
Kingdom Partner Events are regularly scheduled to connect business leaders, feature local success stories, and encourage local business leaders. These are an excellent on-ramp for curious business leaders to hear the vision and join the community of like-minded leaders.
Local Government
Partnerships: We empower public servants to experience the transformative power of prayer in local government. We regularly partner with local officials in ongoing prayer for the prosperity of Arkansas under righteous leadership.
Collaboration: We collaborate with governing leaders, business leaders, and local churches on special initiatives for the welfare of our cities and state in the spirit of Jeremiah 29:7.
But seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you, and pray to the Lord on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare.
– Jeremiah 29:7

Victory Over Violence Prayer Rally
In October 2017, Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson, Little Rock Mayor Mark Stodola, and Chief of Police Kenton Buckner partnered with local news stations to call the churches of Little Rock to pray. More than 70 churches gathered at War Memorial Stadium to pray for Little Rock amid the violent crime crisis.
Local news stations tracked the rate of violent crime over the next year. The churches again in November 2018 where the news announced that the crime rate had steadily decreased since the day of the previous prayer rally! Local news stations broadcasted both events, including a presentation of the gospel, to the city.
Logan Bloom and Arkansas For Christ served as the key coordinator for both events.

Arkansas Prayer Summit
In February 2019, sixty-five pastors and ministry leaders gathered for a day of extended prayer and worship at the 22nd annual Arkansas Prayer Summit. We were privileged to welcome pastor Brian Alarid from Albuquerque, NM, and pastor Trey Kent from Austin, TX, key leaders of the America Prays movement. The two shared testimonies of the rapid expansion and transformative impact of 24/7 prayer among local churches across America.
The testimonies so stirred our group that we committed to launch Arkansas Prays and add Arkansas to the growing list of states to be covered in 24/7 prayer. Churches are continually being added to the list in an effort to cover every day of the year in prayer. Leaders are actively recruiting and equipping churches in regions across Arkansas to participate in this local church expression of unceasing prayer!

Business Leader Prayer Groups
God is answering the prayers of business leaders who are committed to God’s kingdom purposes. These are just some of the many testimonies.
One business leader requested prayer during a slump that was soon to affect his employees. Not long after, the business had a sudden influx of new clients that were nearly too many to contain.
Another business leader requested prayer for ongoing strife between his employees. Not long after, the employees experienced a meaningful reconciliation that restored long-awaited peace to the company.
Another asked for prayer during a job transition. Through a series of remarkable circumstances, the Lord sovereignly connected him to a far better job opportunity than he expected.
Case Study
Legislative Session
Members of the Arkansas General Assembly gathered weekly to pray during the 2019 Legislative Session. During those meetings, they kept a prayer list that was updated regularly. Highlighted among the prayer list were cancer patients, some of them terminal with six weeks to live. The Legislators prayed every week for their families. Week seven came, then week eight, and the Legislators began to receive reports that the terminal cancer was going into remission!
The Legislators also carried each other in prayer, both democrat and republican, forging relationships that impacted many good laws that affected all of Arkansas. Many of them attribute their steadfast faith and accomplishment to those weekly prayer meetings.

Partnership
Arkansas for Christ is funded by the generous contributions of individuals, businesses, and churches. Jesus said in Matthew 6:21, “Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Every partner represents so much more than a donation, but a heart that shares our vision. Together we are building an extended family of faith in Arkansas. Let’s ask the Lord together to help us meet this need. Your prayers and support help us expand this movement across Arkansas to serve more communities!
And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work. – 2 Corinthians 9:8
