About Awaken Arkansas

by Logan Bloom
Jan 15, 2025

Awaken Arkansas is a growing compilation of Arkansas' prophetic history.

Arkansas has a rich history of prophetic intercessors who have sought God's heart for this State. The intent is to create a place where this prophetic history can be organized for future generations.

Please help compile Arkansas' prophetic history! Submissions can include details of Arkansas' histories, stories of significant leaders or milestones, or prophetic words for the State. Provide documentation to [email protected].

You will receive follow-up communication before any further action is taken. Please carefully consider the suggested submission questions listed below and feel free to provide further documentation.

Submission Questions

For the following submission questions, do not feel pressured to provide answers if you are unsure or try to fill in gaps with guesswork. It is common for some elements to be left vague or uncertain. Accuracy in this process is measured by how well we can distinguish between what exactly was inspired by the Helper and our added commentary or guesswork. These questions can be used as prayer prompts to ask the Lord for further clarification and process with trusted discernment teams.

  • What happened?

What happened that you sensed may be from the Lord? Describe your prophetic experience or impression. Specifically, what information was conveyed, and how was it conveyed? (i.e., dream, Scripture, impression, or multiple parts).

  • Is there a core message or theme?

Sometimes, revelation is accompanied by an immediate sense of meaning, though it may not be immediately apparent. Did you sense the revelation had a specific meaning, theme, or message? For example, were there literal or symbolic components? Prophetic activity often does not need to be overanalyzed in fine detail, but it is helpful to capture the details. A general theme or meaning emerges when we consider the revelation wholistically. It is common for the theme to be further clarified over time.

  • Is there a timeframe?

While timing is often intentionally left vague, sometimes there is a ballpark sense of timing, a specific timing trigger, or the revelation could be for an immediate circumstance. Does your revelation pertain to a current circumstance, or might it be future? Are there any timing indicators? It is very important not to make assumptions about timing when unsure, so do not feel pressure if you feel uncertain. The Helper often clarifies timing later, sometimes even after the word comes to pass.

  • Is the revelation about a particular person or group?

Sometimes, revelation can pertain to a specific individual or group of people. To whom does your revelation pertain? Did you sense it was about an individual, group, organization, geographic area, etc.?

  • Could the revelation relate to real-world circumstances?

Sometimes, revelation may pertain directly to real-world circumstances or current events, or current events may be related to understanding the revelation. These could be large-scale events or personal circumstances.

  • Are there any specific application steps highlighted in the revelation?

Sometimes, the revelation is accompanied by a sense of how we should respond, though not always. Is there a specific application you sensed would be an appropriate response? Were there specific application steps for particular people? What should be done, when, and by whom? Do not feel pressure to generate application steps if you feel uncertain. Such steps would be clearly apparent, but it is common for the Helper to clarify application steps over time.

Always remember that we must respect the agency of those involved and should never seek to force anyone to accept a prophetic word or apply it in a specific way. We must trust the Helper to guide others in their application.

  • Who is meant to hear about this prophetic revelation?

Sometimes, the audience intended to hear the revelation is limited, and sometimes the audience is broad. Sometimes, the revelation is personal or kept in prayer long before it is shared, or it may be just for one person or a couple. Is there a particular audience you believe should hear this word, and when should they hear it? Is it a particular person or group?

In cases of broad groups, I recommend following the diligence steps with a trusted discernment team before sharing prophetic words publicly with a broad audience. Otherwise, it often becomes a game of telephone and second-hand accounts. Once the revelation has an opportunity to be discerned in the diligence process, who needs to hear this word, when, and in what way?

  • Are there expected confirmations?

Sometimes, the Helper will specify or provide clues as to how the revelation may be confirmed. This may occur as a sign, specific circumstance, or other complimentary words. Did your revelation contain any confirmation clues? Is there a particular way you might expect the revelation to be confirmed?

All submissions will receive follow-up before any further action is taken.

Process

The inclusion or exclusion of any content on this page does not necessarily lend or disparage credibility. Just because a prophetic word may be included here does not mean its implications have been fully verified or confirmed. Unverified content may be included for further comparison, consideration, and discernment. (See Building With Prophetic Leadership on Servant Leader Network for a sample process).

Awaken Arkansas endeavors to abide by three core governing values out of a desire to remain approachable and relevant to the diversity of the body of Christ.

  1. Loyalty to Scripture: Awaken Arkansas prioritizes the written Word of the Bible and will not post any prophetic word that contradicts its core tenets. Its posts are primarily documentary and will avoid conjecture concerning various possible interpretations or applications.
  2. Team Ministry: Healthy prophetic activity flourishes as a community effort with adequate humility and accountability. Biblical prophecy affirms everyone's agency and involvement in growth and discernment. Awaken Arkansas will not post any prophetic word that violates an individual's privacy or agency.
  3. Glorifying Jesus: Authentic prophecy glorifies the God of the prophet rather than the prophet of God. Awaken Arkansas endeavors to draw attention to Jesus. Sources may be shared for accountability as much as credibility.

Awaken Arkansas is currently overseen by Logan Bloom with Servant Leader Network. Awaken Arkansas is a work in progress that will improve with time, study, and practice. Hopefully, Awaken Arkansas can share what we learn through this process and learn from other States and leaders.

Prophetic Prayer from Denise and Paul Kroenke
Denise and Paul Kroenke are a beautiful ministry couple from Kansas. In 2018, their church commissioned them to spend a year traveling to pray at all 50 state capitols. I met them when they visited Arkansas on November 9, 2018. Arkansas was the seventh state on their journey. Denise spoke a prophetic prayer over the state of Arkansas and its Capitol during her visit, as she did for each state. ...
